Menlo Basketball Academy

Summer Camp 2023

Menlo Basketball Academy Summer Camps prioritize fun with an emphasis on skills development for young players!  Through group drills and skill stations – with a focus on as much individual attention as possible – players will work with our excellent coaches and counselors to improve all facets of the game. In addition, each day will feature 5-on-5 game play, a “contest of the day,” and a “topic of the day” as determined by our staff.

About

Menlo Basketball Academy is lead by the Coaching Staff (across the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels) of Menlo School boys basketball. Camp Counselors also include current Menlo Varsity team members, Menlo School basketball team alumni, other local high school varsity players, and local college players.

The Academy is directed by Ben Batory, Head Coach of the 2021-2022 CCS Boys Division IV Champion Menlo Knights. Batory has coached high school basketball for two decades, and has also been on staff of the 2016-2017 CCS Boys Division I Champion Palo Alto Vikings, and the 2008 New York State Class B Champion Collegiate School Dutchmen. Across his coaching career, he has guided over 25 high school players to success at the “next level” as collegiate athletes.

As a former player, Batory also scored 1,000 points in both his high school and college careers, and spent five years playing professionally overseas for teams in Costa Rica, Ireland, Malta, Switzerland, and Mauritius.
